handwritingX - Interactive Art

How would computers read your handwriting?

3.5 weeks in 2016

Project for the course Interactive Art and Computational Design instructed by Professor Golan Levin

handwritingX is an interactive program that attempts to read the user's handwriting. After the user scribbles text on canvas, preferably with a writing tablet, and press enter, computer’s best guess on what the user wrote appears on the top.

The program leads the user to write more like a computer. Greater humanity in the dataset leads to greater inaccuracy in the output.
