I'm Bo Kim, user experience designer and creative technologist based in Pittsburgh. I'm a strong believer in human-centered design practices. Currently, I'm studying Human-Computer Interaction, Art, and Ethics, History and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. As you can see, I grew up with a wide range of interests and learning new things still excites me.
I think UX is like acting. It lets designers be in someone else's shoes, and live their life to understand their needs and wants more than anybody else in the team.
I took a year off after graduating from high school to get a better sense of what it means to be a grown up. I love traveling + backpacking, taking photographs with my old Rolleiflex camera, and watching artsy music videos.
I'm currently looking for an awesome group of people to work with this summer. Let's talk!
The shirt I'm wearing is from Everlane's 100% Human Collection that donates $5 towards American Civil Liberties Union for every purchase. Check it out!
